Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is about considering our impact on the environment and the people we interact with. Carter Homes cares about the communities in which we work, local residents, our suppliers and the environment. We recognise that our activities can have an impact on the environment and we put every effort into minimising this.
At Carter Homes, we understand that Corporate Social Responsibility isn’t just about doing the right thing, it means behaving responsibly and also dealing with suppliers who do the same. We seek to gain respect from our clients, suppliers and the local community, through building relationships in an environment based on an ethos of continuous improvement.
We have achieved ISO 14001 and have developed our own Environmental Management System. At Carter Homes we believe that every individual within the company is responsible for putting the effort into protecting the environment.
As an ethical business, it is our priority to ensure that we give back to the communities we work in. This includes engaging residents and local schools, providing apprenticeships and training as well as sourcing locally where possible.
